昨日は、RBA（豪準備銀行）による政策金利の発表がありました。
金利そのものは、7.25%の据え置きで、事前の市場予測どおり。注目は、その後の声明発表に集まっていました。
「The evidence is that the tightening in financial conditions, in conjunction with other factors including rising fuel costs, is working to restrain demand.」
需要抑制のための金融引き締めが効いている。
「Inflation is likely to remain relatively high in the short term, and the CPI will be further boosted in coming quarters by the recent rises in global oil prices. Looking further ahead, inflation in both CPI and underlying terms should decline over time, provided demand continues to evolve as expected.」
インフレは短期的に高水準でCPIも原油高で押し上げられるが、いずれ低下する。
現水準の金利から変更（利上げ）する動機を見出せず、利上げ期待が後退。豪ドルは声明発表直後から売られ、その後の円高にも相まって、AUD/JPYは一時100.2円水準まで下落しました。
ISM製造業景況指数が低水準だったら、100円割れも視野に入り、ようやく豪ドルを買うチャンスか？とも思いましたが、現在は101円台で推移しています。
豪ドルは、今日10:30に小売売上高の発表もありますので、引き続き注目です。
